National Lottery - Winner Comes Forward

Post by Conti »

National Lottery - Winner Comes Forward

The last lottery jackpot of £66m was won by two people a few weeks ago.
One winner was announced immediately but the second winner remained silent for three weeks.

In those weeks many hundreds of people put a claim in with all sorts of excuses.
They said things like they lost their ticket or the ticket was destroyed.

One woman came forward with what looked like a winning ticket but it had been through the washing machine.

Camelot, the lotto people will look into all genuine claims and you can claim your winnings if you provide evidence that you bought the winning ticket. They do a lot of investigating.

They came down a bit heavy handed and said anyone who claims fraudulently will be prosecuted for fraud!

After 3 weeks someone came forward with an undisputed winning ticket.
Why on Earth would anyone wait that long :o

The woman who hit the headlines at the time has spoke out and insists that she won.
She says she will never enter the lottery again.

The winner may have been on holiday and thats why its took all these weeks to claim the lottery prize.
As for that woman still complaining, well she is being silly when the two winning tickets have been seen by the lotto bosses.
She should forget it otherwise she will get done for fraud.
I don't think Camelot will miss her £2.00
The Great British follies - interesting indeed!

Here is a picture of the grandmother who claims she won £33m on the lottery.
Also shown is her "winning" ticket.
She still believes that the money is hers!

If that woman doesn't shut her mouth she can get done for fraud.
Mind you, who ACTUALLY won the £33 million ?
Anonymous, yes but not really, you can't hide that amount of cash.
David Bowie has died - what more can I say

Good luck to anyone who plays the National Lottery.
I do it on the odd occasion.
I am not too much of a gambler myself.
£33 million quid would have changed my life ;)

You can't hide £33m easily so the winners will be made public soon I guess ;)
I will not be reading any newspapers today, its my day off!

Its a lot of money to win on the National Lottery.
As pointed out, if there was a family in the area that won this they would be found out straight away.
