Yes, Patrick Moore was the man to watch.
I really believe he would have made a meal of this.
I would have loved to see the excitement on his face at the discovery of a new planet in our own solar system.
I would have taken his explanation for how it took so long to find.

The distance that this new ninth planet travels are so huge its hard to comprehend.
Its actual orbit around our sun is also strange too. In 500 or so years the planet would have not appeared to move.
It could easily have been mistaken for a star.
