Spend your old £1 coins by 16 October 2017

After the 16th October 2017 the old £1 coins in the UK will no longer be legal tender.
Spend them now while the shops will accept them.
You can still get their value after this date but it will be a pain.
So, check down your sofas etc and find them now and spend them.
Bye, bye old pound coins

I find myself stuck with quite a few of these old pound coins, time to take them to the building society me thinks.
David Bowie has died - what more can I say
