Former Blue Peter presenter, John Noakes dies ages 83

John Noakes passed away after a long illness with Alzheimer's.
He was 83.
Noakes will always be remembered for his presenter's role in Blue Beter.
He was always with his dog, Shep.
Obviously he had his own show called Go With Noakes.

However in Blue Peter he was a true dare devil before the age of health and safety
He done everything from climbing Nelson's Column and free fall parachuting.

He will be sadly missed by a lot of people.
The Barron Knights have given him credit in this song about John Noakes.

I grew up with John Noakes like many others.
Blue Peter was never the same without him.

I grew up with him too.
He was a cool sort of bloke and very daring.

He was a hard act to follow on Blue Peter.
