Alien Signals - Fast Radio Bursts (FRB) Bombard Earth

Radio signals have been bombarding Earth which are believed to be from thousands of light years away.
The Fast Radio Bursts are repeating themselves many times over and until now they have not been deciphered.
Many say they could be an alien life-form trying to contact other intelligent life.
Others say they may just be from a dwarf galaxy.
These sort of signals were only discovered in 2007 and as yet are still a mystery.

Of course we are not alone in the universe, that would be unthinkable.
However, with the vast distances involved we may never meet any.
Also, some advanced civilisations will have evolved then died out.
If any intelligent life is sending out signals then they may be in another form other than radio signals.
I would love to see us decode some of these signals that we are aware of to reveal other forms of life that exist (which now may not as the radio signals could come from billions of light years away).

Just read an interesting post here on these forums.
This tells us that FM radio may be phased out very soon, possibly world wide.
Any aliens listening out for us might miss all those we ever broadcast on FM so they will have to be quick.

Imagine a civilisation just starting to sending radio signals from billions of light years away.
Our civilisation wont live anywhere near that to catch them.
To be honest we will be lucky to survive another hundred years the way things are going.

I believe that there are ways that aliens are communicating with each other across the vast distances of space.
When we learn how then we can 'log on' to all this.
They say nothing can travel faster than the speed of light but if we are going to communicate across the universe this will have to happen.
So far nobody will believe that communicating faster than light is possible but who knows.
After all, advanced lifeforms will know that they will have to do this and will have developed something accordingly.
It's up to us to advance this way.
Let's leave that up to the boffins to work on.
