Sinclair ZX Spectrum - Reminiscing

Sinclair ZX Spectrum - Reminiscing

Just been surfing the internet when I cam across an image of a Sinclair Spectrum personal computer
I remember when I bought my first one - it was £174.99 in WH Smiths, I believe.
Oh the times I had playing on it
Then we would make an image of a match-stalk man and make him walk across the television screen
We bought a light pen them days and it made the television screen go haywire.
Not sure why the interest died but we got rid of it.
My memory is that it always overheated but was reliable as anything.
If it hadn't been for those rubber keys it would have been far better.
I am not knocking the ZX Spectrum, on the contrary it helped us pass many a countless hour through the wee small hours.

My ZX Spectrum was around that price too.
I was thinking about grabbing a bargain one on ebay about 2 years ago but after thinking about it I bypassed the temptation.
I just didn't want to have a museum piece in the house that would go unused basically.
I used to love mine but I love my PC better ;)

I don't know why but I bought one of these when they came out.
I wish I never now :?
Too late to cry now though

I spent far too long on my ZX Spectrum.
What a waste of a life.
And more to the point...................
