NASA and the Project Apollo Archive

Indeed, this category includes discussions that are out of this world. The universe is never ending so they say, and there are so many things out there to talk about. Obviously, new discoveries in outer space are coming thick and fast.

NASA and the Project Apollo Archive

NASA and the Project Apollo Archive

Thousands upon thousands of images from the Apollo space missions have been released by NASA.
These pictures in high definition are now uploaded to the internet for all to see.
They date back to the sixties and early seventies of course but they have never been seen before by the public.
Now is your chance to examine the images at your leisure.
I think its amazing how its took this long to release them but well worth the wait.

Its taken NASA so long to release these lunar images and the Apollo pictures etc.
Why has it taken decades - you have to wonder at the amazing detail however.

I can appreciate all this from the Project Apollo Archive people.
Vey well done to them.
It means a lot to those enthusiasts doing the work and showing the images to the public is proving haw much care they have taken.

Some of those Apollo images are so detailed.
The surface of the Moon can be discovered all over again with all that detail.
What an amazing website.
I could spend a lot of time on there so I have bookmarked it.
A very good find in my opinion.
David Bowie has died - what more can I say
