Furthest Galaxy Ever Discovered

Indeed, this category includes discussions that are out of this world. The universe is never ending so they say, and there are so many things out there to talk about. Obviously, new discoveries in outer space are coming thick and fast.

Furthest Galaxy Ever Discovered

The Hubble Telescope has discovered a galaxy that is 13.4 billion years old.
We see it at its infant stage at only 3% of its current age.
It has been called GN-z11.

With it being so far away there could have been many countless forms of life evolved and died out there already.

So basically at 3% it hasn't even turned into a proper galaxy, of course in reality, it might have developed and been destroyed by now :headscratch:
David Bowie has died - what more can I say

Who knows, there might have been earth-like planets formed with intelligent life forms.
Their planets may have become exhausted and they may have built space craft capable of mass migrations looking for other worlds to occupy.
We just don't know but I hope they don't come here if so :rolling:

The distances involved are amazing.
There is a new space telescope going up soon which will be able to show more objects in more detail.
I can't wait.

Its amazing really and because the universe is still expanding we will never know much about this galaxy.
Earth will end well before we understand anything much about its development.

Why do we even bother looking for these far off galaxies, some of which are not even developed?
We will never get there - ever!

We see it as dust now but there it will have been fully formed and maybe even destroyed.
