New fasting diet could reverse diabetes

This is not the usual diets that are a money-making scam and fad.
This study is by scientists hoping to find a cure for diabetes.
Tests on mice have had some good results reversing the disease.
The tests involve fasting on a low calorie diet for 5 days then eating normally for 25 days.
However, do not try this at home unless you seek medical advice first.
The famine and feast method aims to 're-programme' the pancreas to producing insulin again.

I read about this and it's good for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
I hope they can develop this further.

I hope they can develop this further as I know a few with diabetes and it's not nice.

I am hopeful that they will sort out a cure for diabetes soon.
They know the cause so a cure should be somewhere down the line and this is just one way they are picking away at it.
