Independent Newspaper No Longer In Print

Independent Newspaper No Longer In Print

The Independent, a newspaper that has been around for about 30 years will no longer be a physical newspaper in print form.
The independent will be still available in digital form online and has been the first newspaper to be hit by the dramatic slump in newspaper sales.

Here it is out of the horses mouth:

Its sad to see a newspaper go from print to digital.
I know some local newspapers have done this but this is the very first national one to do it.
Things are changing with the internet and televisions being interactive.
I expect another newspaper to disappear as well but not too long in the future I expect.

It was on the cards that a newspaper would stop printing and go online.
I am surprised we haven't seen a few do this already!
David Bowie has died - what more can I say

They say about a hundred workers will lose their jobs as well.
Unfortunately newspaper sales have plummeted over the years.
Look at me :D

We should have a competition to see which will be the next newspaper to bite the dust
Its going to happen its only a matter of time because information technology has changed far too much.

All the media people have an online presence so they all have the ability to go exclusively online.
As more and more people grasp all this technology then I see more and more newspapers going that way.
I never bought many newspapers and think it is a waste of resources now.
The trouble is that not everyone can grasp the new technology to view online information.
I am innocent, are you?

I used to look forward to the morning papers but for the last few years I have not bought any.
I guess I get my information elsewhere.
And more to the point...................
